OMNEX technology drives Mustang Telehandler remote control that won a Most Innovative Product award at World of Concrete’s 2006 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Each year, World of Concrete encourages their trade show exhibitors to compete in Hanley Wood's Most Innovative Products contest. This event gives both Attendees’ Choice and Experts' Choice awards to selected products exhibited at the World of Concrete.

This year more than 2,000 ballots were cast to pick winners in seven categories. Out of one hundred and forty-four entries, Mustang Manufacturing Company’s Radio Remote Boom Control was chosen as Most Innovate Product, Attendees' Choice in the category of Sitework, Equipment and Materials.

Developed under private label by OMNEX, Mustang’s Radio Remote Boom Control allows Mustang Telehandler operators to raise, lower, extend and retract a boom and start and stop the engine from a remote control, eliminating the need for additional operators to position and reposition workers, and increase the efficiency of the users. The remote control allows one operator to control a machine -- he can leave the cab and move around for greater visibility, and pick and place a load remotely. And, the Radio Remote Boom Control is waterproof, compact, portable and easy to use.
